Smother is set to hit our screens on Sunday and we’ll see Gemma-Leah Devereux playing Anna in the gripping Irish noir drama.
Ahead of the show’s release, the Dublin actress spoke to You magazine about how shaving her head was enjoyably ‘liberating’.
The hair change came about for her role as a comedian called Kate McLaughlin in the film The Bright Side. In that role her character found out she had cancer and Gemma-Leah explained, ‘I needed to shave my head for that, so I was completely bald for quite a while.
