Slipknot star hospitalised after sustaining ‘serious burns’ in explosion

Slipknot star Sid Wilson has been hospitalised after an explosion left him with serious burns to his face and body. The 47-year-old musician shared photos of the burns on his face and arms in a post on social media, following a horrific incident at the farm he shares with girlfriend Kelly Osbourne.

Sid, who plays with rock band Slipknot, showed nurses dressing his wounds as he took to Instagram from his hospital bed, the Mirror reports.

Sid showed that his arms, cheeks and lips suffered blisters and were inflamed and red. Sid, who performs as DJ Strarscream, also shared that he was going to shave off his moustache but the fire ensured that this was taken out of his hands as the flames singed off his facial hair.

He captioned his Instagram posts: "Ouch" and "Im going to be ok everyone. Love you all."
