The now famous European fan anthem of "Ole, ole ole ole" rang out as they walked onto the first tee and the atmosphere is something to behold.But there seems to be a subtle change taking place in how all square matches are being described.
Traditionally, on this side of the pond, when golfers can;t be separated in matchplay, their level or drawn game is referred to as all square.
But as we saw in the Solheim Cup last week, which Europe retained against their American opponents, Sky has taken to saying "tied."It's also being used on the broadcaster's scoreboard graphics in the top left hand corner of the screen.
