Sky Sports issued an apology after fans were left furious at a sound issue, which caused a delay in transmission. Tottenham fans were left upset after a sound issue caused them to hear Serge Aurier give their side the lead against Sheffield United on Sunday before a ball was kicked.

The issue meant the audio track was well ahead of the video footage, and was painfully obvious on more than one occasion. Firstly, Harry Kane played the ball off for Steven Bergwijn to have a shot from the edge of the area in the opening minutes.

Bergwijn fired the ball towards goal and forced Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale into a good save. But due to the audio issue, fans knew the save had been made before Bergwijn even took the shot, ruining the
