The London actress, who is most known for playing Emily Finch on the hit British teen drama Skins, was hit by the cement truck when she was crossing the street in New York City.
The tragic news was announced by her twin sister, bodybuilder Megan Prescott, who took to Instagram to plead for support in getting to the US as she announced that her sister is alone in the city with no family members.
Posting a statement to her Instagram, the shocked sister wrote: ‘I received the most terrifying phone call I’ve ever received in my life on Tuesday evening.
