‘Skinny, bald’ prisoner on the run after absconding from jail - do not approach him

Daniel Green, 34, was last seen at HMP Thorn Cross, in Appleton, earlier this morning (Friday June 4). Thorn Cross is a Category D men’s open prison and young offender institution (YOI) in Warrington, Cheshire.
Police are now appealing for information about Green’s whereabouts. Cheshire Constabulary say he has links to Cumbria, though he could still be in the local area.
Green is described as being bald and of a skinny build. He was last seen wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, a grey top and a Nike grey t-shirt.
