A six-year-old girl was one of two people rushed to hospital following a two vehicle crash on a Scots road. Emergency services raced to the collision which occurred northbound on the A77 at Kilmarnock at around 1.25pm on Sunday, March 20.
The child and a 40-year-old woman were both transferred to hospital via ambulance but their conditions are unknown at this time.
It's understood that there were major tailbacks as a result of the crash but the area has since been cleared. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1.25pm on Sunday, 20 March, police were called to a report of a two vehicle crash on the A77 northbound at Kilmarnock.
