Sir Rod Stewart makes desperate plea on behalf of backing singer

Rod Stewart made a call for help on behalf of one of his backing singers after her suitcase went missing. The Maggie May rocker took to his Instagram page when his band member was left distraught when the bag with her "whole life in there" vanished while she was flying with British Airways.

Rod, 74, shared her plea for assistance alongside an angry face emoji as backing singer Joanne Harper ranted: "Still no case, one minute it's in Manchester, next it's in London then in Dallas..

my whole life is in there @british_airways."Rod also wrote: "@british_airways please help my backing vocalist Joanne be reunited with her luggage," as Joanne was later seen sharing Rod's post too with a love heart emoji to signify her appreciation for the singer's help to spread the word.Meanwhile, the British rock legend has recently enjoyed a lavish sun-soaked trip abroad himself alongside the Stewart clan where the family shared some well-deserved bonding time - particularly with his newly born grandchildren Otis and Louis.Among the group was Rod's son Liam Stewart, who has recently welcomed his eight-week-old son Louis with his partner Nicole Artukovich.
