Former Manchester United assistant coach Steve Round believes Ruben Amorim can take the club forward, but patience will be needed at Old Trafford.
The Portuguese coach succeeded former manager Erik ten Hag in the dugout last month and has won two of his three games in charge so far.
Last time out, they brushed Everton aside 4-0 to move up into ninth in the league standings. Round, 54, worked at the Reds as an assistant to David Moyes following Sir Alex Ferguson's departure in 2013.
Their tenure failed to last an entire season and Moyes, along with his coaching staff, were dismissed in April 2014.
