Harvey Weinstein

Harvey Weinstein CBE (born March 19, 1952) is an American former film producer. He and his brother Bob Weinstein co-founded the entertainment company Miramax, which produced several successful independent films, including Sex, Lies, and Videotape (1989), The Crying Game (1992), Pulp Fiction (1994), Heavenly Creatures (1994), Flirting with Disaster (1996), and Shakespeare in Love (1998).

Weinstein won an Academy Award for producing Shakespeare in Love, and garnered seven Tony Awards for a variety of plays and musicals, including The Producers, Billy Elliot the Musical, and August: Osage County. After leaving Miramax, Weinstein and his brother Bob founded The Weinstein Company, a mini-major film studio. He was co-chairman, alongside Bob, from 2005 to 2017.

Singer Rex Orange County Accused Of Sexually Assaulting A Woman On 6 Separate Occasions

Rex Orange County is being accused of sexually assaulting the same woman six times. In the report, the singer, whose real name is Alexander O’Connor, has been charged with assaulting the woman on six separate occasions in London. Click inside to read more… The Sun first reported the news, writing that the 24-year-old artist appeared at Southwark Crown Court on Monday to deny the allegations.

He pleaded not guilty and was released on unconditional bail. A provisional trial date has been set for January 3, 2023. In the accusations, the woman claims that Alexander assaulted her twice in the West End on June 1 and four additional times the next day, once in a taxi and three times at his home in Notting Hill. “Alex is shocked by the allegations, which he denies, and looks forward to clearing his name in court,” a representative for Rex Orange County said in a statement to Variety. “He is unable to make any further comment because of the ongoing proceedings.” Rex Orange County is best known for his 2017 hits “Best Friend” and “Loving Is Easy.” The news comes just as jury selection is starting for Harvey Weinstein‘s Los Angeles trial, who is already serving a 25+ year sentence for sexual assault and rape.
