Five of the best products for a youthful neckline
Dr Barbara Sturm points out, is because the skin there is thinner, with fewer sebaceous glands, making it more prone to dehydration, lines and sun damage. There is no better cure for preventing crêpiness and age spots than by covering up, but who, except the late Nora Ephron perhaps, wants to live in scarves and polo-necks all-year round?Instead, it is wise practice to apply a dedicated neck cream with lipid-rich ceramides, such as Sturm’s own new Super Anti-Aging Neck and Décolleté Cream. This contains a high concentration of potent ingredients including shea butter, marula oil, prickly pear and good old hyaluronic acid, with the addition of mushroom extract to firm, tighten and restore elasticity and moisture. The neck, Sturm points out, is in constant motion, giving cause for horizontal lines which, if you so desire, can be tempered with baby shots of Botox (it’s a real thing), while neck skin can be tightened with radiofrequency or ultrasound, or even a traditional lower face lift – which, let’s be honest, is old hat when lasers and light beams can do just as good a job without a trace.Still, January is not the time for splurging, and so if nothing else, it is prudent to apply whatever serum and cream you use on your face down on to your neck and chest, including factor 50 SPF – even in winter. And while you’re at it, smear what’s left on the backs of your hands, which are also susceptible to premature ageing. I’ve found vitamin C serum particularly effective: it has faded the pigmentation on mine since I began doing so a while ago.Slightly off-topic, but worth considering is a silk pillowcase or, better yet, a designated beauty pillow.

Why drones aren't allowed over football stadiums as Brentford vs Wolves is suspended
Football fans have been left confused after a drone caused a lengthy delay to the Premier League fixture between Brentford and Wolves on Saturday afternoon.Referee Peter Bakes called a halt to the first-half proceedings and ordered both sets of players to leave the pitch after the flying object was spotted above the Brentford Community Stadium. It then took 20 minutes for the incident to be resolved before play could be resumed. Many supporters both in the ground and on social media questioned the suspension of the match. But a report put together by John Newsham for The Football Safety Officers Association explains why drones are banned from football stadiums. There are two main safety reasons given for why a match must be stopped while one is overhead. The first is simply that if the pilot loses control of the device, then it could fall and injure either a player or a crowd member. And the other is the "potential for terrorist activity", with the drone possibly weaponised with explosives or poisonous gases.Do you agree with the reasoning? Two Brentford players left with blood pouring out of heads after sickening collision
Brentford players Rico Henry and Mathias Jensen were involved in a graphic clash of heads during the Bees’ Premier League encounter against Wolves. The injuries the pair sustained were so bad that manager Thomas Frank was forced into making a double substitution.Jensen was seen leaving the field of play with blood dripping from his face, in harrowing scenes. The two went up for the ball at the same time and ended up colliding with one another on the 20 minutes at the Community Stadium. The game had to be stalled for around five minutes as medics ran to the pitch and tended to the pair.It was deemed they needed to be replaced and substitutes Mads Roerslev and Shandon Baptiste came on.Just six minutes later, the game was halted once again as a drone flew over the pitch. The referee took both teams off as per safety protocols and the game was stopped for 18 minutes. The Bees have lost their last three Premier League matches and are looking more and more like they could be dragged back into a relegation battle. Is this the most graphic injury you've seen this season? Tell us in the comments section. After Brentford’s 3-1 loss to Manchester United on Wednesday, the Danish boss - who has just signed a fresh deal to keep him with the Bees until 2025 - said that the northwest club were lucky to get their win.Frank was stunned his side didn't claim all three points though and said United deserved nothing more than a draw at best.“I know goals change the momentum of games but if you look at the overall performance for 90 minutes there can only be one winner and that’s us. They only deserve a draw," he said via Manchester Evening News."I’m unbelievably proud of the team and the players.

Bad boy Nick Kyrgios' ex-girlfriends from bikini model to Russian tennis star
and then swigged a beer handed to him by a fan after he demolished Briton Liam Broady in his opening match.Defeat to de facto top seed Daniil Medvedev followed, but he's continued to be noticed, with beaten opponents offering to fight him in the gym after an ill-tempered second-round doubles match. But while the aforementioned dramas all relate - albeit tenuously - to tennis matches, his much publicised love-life also remains in the spotlight. He's currently dating Costeen Hatzi, just months after his volatile split from model Chiara Passari, and the Australian's relationships - just like his tennis career - have rarely been low-key.Kyrgios was being hailed as a prestigious young talent on the tennis scene when he began dating fellow pro Ajla Tomljanovic - who hails from Croatia but had by then decided to represent Australia. The pair were frequently spotted with each other and even played as partners in mixed doubles at the Australian Open in 2015 and 2016. Indeed, Kyrgios once told reporters: “It’s when I’m with her that I am the happiest.”Seemingly, that didn't mean happy enough, with the couple splitting in 2017 after Kyrgios was photographed partying with other female tennis players.Tomljanovic did the honourable thing and deactivated her social media after unfollowing her ex-boyfriend, and although Kyrgios later publicly hinted at a reunion, the romance never rekindled. She's now in a relationship with another tennis star, Matteo Berrettini.Come March 2020, and Kyrgios was dating another fellow tennis star, Russian player Anna Kalinskaya.
