Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

ok.co.ukSimon Cowell pulled out of his upcoming role as a judge on The X Factor Israel due to "his own reasons." The 6- year-old had signed a deal to star on the upcoming series of the reality show, based on the hit programme he launched in the UK back in 2004.
But a spokesperson for Reshet, The X Factor Israel's producers, has confirmed that he will now not appear on screens alongside fellow judges Netta Barzilai, Aviv Geffen and Margalit Tzan'ani.
Although no official reason has been given for Simon not taking part, it has been reported that members of his staff had reached out to Reshet with "legitimate concerns" over his involvement with the show following the recent violence between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
