Simon Cowell has reached out to his former The X Factor co-star Sinitta for help rebooting the defunct talent series. Once the biggest show on television, The X Factor hasn't aired since 2018, but music mogul Simon is now in talks to bring it back to our screens.
Sinitta has now revealed that her 62 year old ex – who she previously helped in the Judges' Houses stage of the show – has been in touch to see what changes she would make to revive the format.
And the star, who once had a pop career of her own, wasted no time in revealing the recommendations she gave Simon. "I'm so excited about it and I have spoke to Simon and I think it would be great for it to come back.
I need to hear more," she told MailOnline. "He was kind of like, 'We'll talk next week,' so I don't know if he was just being evasive or if he was genuinely busy but I was like, 'Let's talk, what's going on?'" Sharing her ideas for possible changes, Sinitta argued that acts from abroad should be able to audition, and that the show should no longer air on traditional television.
