Simon Cowell confuses BGT fans with bizarre 'meowing' forcing Dec to tell him off

Britain's Got Talent fans were left confused on Friday night as Simon Cowell meowed – leading Declan Donnelly to tell him off.

In an awkward turn of events during the fifth night of the BGT live semi-final shows, host Dec wasted no time in calling out Simon after he mocked his fellow judges as they critiqued dancing duo Romeo & Icy.

After an energetic performance from Romeo & Icy, Simon told the pair: "I've always thought you were fun, what the show needs and I thought you did amazing tonight, seriously." But both Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon had different opinions and admitted that while they loved their personalities, they didn't think the act wasn't good enough to win the show.

As they were both giving their feedback, Simon began making strange meowing noises into his microphone and interrupted the judges as they were talking.
