After recently giving birth to her second child, Tracey Beaker actress Dani Harmer has revealed that she can’t breastfeed her newborn son due to a health condition.

The 33 year old, who is mum to one month old Rowan Leon James and Avarie-Belle Betsy, five, explained that her youngest is suffering from tongue-tie.Taking to her Instagram Stories, she said: “Some of us try to breastfeed but difficulties get in the way.

My recovery didn't go to plan and Rowan had a tongue tie which led to us having to bottle feed! “A happy healthy baby is what's important.” And she’s not the only celeb to have drawn attention to the issue - earlier this month Loose Women panellist Stacey Solomon spoke about her daughter Rose’s experience with tongue-tie.

Appearing on the show, the 32 year old explained that she’d spotted the issue as soon as her daughter was born after her two year old son Rex’s experience with the condition had made her more aware of the problem. “I just think some people in the medical profession don't want to recognise it because they then have to put budget towards it,” she said.
