Former Celtic star Shunsuke Nakamura admits watching Ange Postecoglou's quadrant of Japanese recruits gives him "great pleasure".

And now the Parkhead hero hopes other stars from the J-League will follow in their footsteps. Postecoglou brought striker Kyogo Furuhashi to the club shortly after taking the reins at Parkhead before recruiting Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate and Yosuke Ideguchi in January.

Kyogo is the club's top scorer despite being sidelined since the end of December while the winter window additions have all made important contributions as Celtic remain at the Premiership summit.Nakamura is delighted Postecoglou has brought some of the J-League's top stars to Scotland and reckons they can write their name in the club's history.

He told The Celtic View: “Their success is a genuine pleasure for me and I’m very glad to see Ange Postecoglou take charge and take four Japanese players over who are all playing well. “I think Celtic have four really good players."Yosuke has more than 10 caps for Japan and is a great talent.
