There were shouts of "f*** off" and "ta ra" as the families of a murdered teen and his two killers clashed inside a courtroom during a sentencing hearing.

Two men were sentenced to life terms with a minimum of 32 years today after they were convicted of the murder of 19-year-old Nyle Corrigan, who was fatally shot in the back in November 2020.

Mr Corrigan was ambushed by Martin Wilson, 37, and Connor Smith, 26, who had travelled to the scene in Merseyside on foot wearing masks and carrying a Glock self-loading pistol, before shooting him.

The two killers were also handed a concurrent sentence of 18 years after they were also convicted of conspiracy to possess a 9mm Glock self-loading pistol with intent to endanger life.
