Shoppers stocking up on Lurpak as Iceland slashes price of 500g tubs
manchestereveningnews.co.ukThe cost of living has seen supermarket prices soar in recent weeks, with the price of some items almost doubling. Shoppers have recently been infuriated by the price of staple item Lurpak after one store was selling it for nearly a tenner.
However, frozen supermarket Iceland has slashed the price of their 500g tubs for the next seven days, with customers rushing to get their hands on the cut-price spread.
Money Saving Central shared the deal to their Facebook page this morning, and has already racked up dozens of comments from shoppers asking family members to ‘stock up’.
