Shoppers left in fits of laughter over failed Christmas gift that displays crude message

With Christmas day now only just a week away, the shops are bustling with last minute shoppers who are desperate to get their hands on any gifts they can in one final frenzy.

However, it's likely that with the big day only around the corner there is not much left to choose from, the Mirror reports.One customer was left in stitches after she discovered a hilarious failed item left in the shelf of the Christmas gift aisle in her local Sainsbury's.

Helen Blackhurst was so taken back by the crude light-up-sign which was supposed to read 'be kind' that she took a picture of it and shared it to Facebook.

The amused mum shared the image to Facebook group 'Family Lockdown Tips and Ideas' with over 1.2m members and many other social media users were equally confused about the neon sign's message.
