A shopper has claimed Tesco staff could have been "dishing out Covid" as they offered customers free chocolates from a communal tub.
Kyle James visited the Kingston Extra store in Milton Keynes on December 21 when he saw staff giving out free Quality Street, leaving people to swarm to grab one.
The 28-year-old said he was "gobsmacked" as he believes the gesture could pose a risk of coronavirus contamination. Mr James claims he pointed out the area is in Tier 4 of coronavirus restrictions, which means the risk of contracting the disease is very high.
However, he said the employee he spoke to shrugged her shoulders and said she was "doing what she was told". The dad-of-one said he briefly stopped and watched the scene as it "blew his mind"
