Shoplifter threatened to stab Farmfoods worker with a twig - days after knife attack on the same victim

James Telfer was already banned from Farmfoods, in School Brow, Warrington, when he targeted the store twice in eight days. In the first attack, shortly after 7.30pm on Tuesday, April 13, Telfer pulled out a Stanley knife and threatened to stab a man working at the shop.

He later lunged at the man whilst he had the knife in his hand, though Telfer did not connect with the victim. The victim had suspected Telfer of shoplifting and had confronted him inside the store. READ MORE: Car smashes into mum's house after
