The head judge has scored this year’s troupe of stars as the best in the history of Strictly Come Dancing – with them all able to foxtrot off with the Glitterball trophy.
Shirley said: “If we take the whole group collectively, everyone is good at something. It could be their personality, their acting skills, it could be their grace and charm.” The star said she particularly rated the older contestants as well as the younger ones, among them actress Caroline Quentin, 60.
