It was an emotional night for Sheridan Smith on Starstruck as the singing show returned after a break on Saturday night. The new ITV show, which sees a host of people transforms into and pay homage to popular artists before only one goes through to the final, was taken off air last weekend to make way for rugby coverage.
But it was back with a bang as viewers got to see Miley Cyrus, Lionel Richie, Justin Timberlake and Amy Winehouse all take to the stage - sort of. The group of three women, who were dressed to represent three different iconic Amy moments, gave a rendition of Rehab before getting comments from the judges including Sheridan, Queen star Adam Lambert, soul singer Beverley Knight and comedian Jason Manford.
Following their performance, host Olly Murs turned to Sherdian and asked: "Sheridan, I know you knew Amy really well. What did you make of our Amys tonight?" Wiping tears from her eyes, the No Return and Cilla actress said: "Girls, you're amazing.
