Manchester City are to no longer be considered as the richest club in the Premier League, following confirmation that Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund has completed its takeover of Newcastle United.
It was confirmed by Newcastle and the Premier League on Thursday evening that Mike Ashley had been bought out by a consortium including PIF, PCP Capital Partners who are led by Amanda Staveley, and RB Sports & Media.
PIF's value is estimated to be worth around a whopping £320billion. In comparison, that dwarves City owner's Sheikh Mansour's reported worth of £17.7bn.
