The heartbroken parents of a 'happy and kind' little girl have paid tribute to her after she was killed in a crash. Six-year-old Millie Gribble tragically died in hospital after being hit by a van on Garstang Road in Barton, Lancashire, on Tuesday (August 15).
Her devastated family were at her bedside. Two other children - a 14-year-old boy and 13-year-old girl - were knocked down on the scene.

They said she loved playing football and going on adventures. In full, the tribute from Millie's mum and dad said: "Millie was not only an amazing little girl, she was a precious daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend but most importantly she was a priceless gift to us all.
