Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao (born March 3, 1997) is a Cuban-American singer, songwriter, and actress.
She rose to prominence as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, formed on The X Factor (U.S.) in 2012, signing a joint record deal with Syco Music and Epic Records.
While a part of Fifth Harmony, Cabello began to establish herself as a solo artist with the release of the collaborations "I Know What You Did Last Summer" with Shawn Mendes, and "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly, the latter reaching number four on the Billboard Hot 100.
There’s a reason why Shawn Mendes doesn’t break out into song for his girlfriend Camila Cabello – it’s because she’s also a singer! “You definitely don’t just sing to your girlfriend, especially when your girlfriend is also a singer,” Shawn said during an interview on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Tuesday (October 6).
He also explained that he’s been at Camila‘s house in Los Angeles while she films Cinderella in London, England. “I just basically use the utilities and sleep in the bed.
That’s really my version of house sitting,” Shawn said. “I’m lucky, she’s coming back tomorrow. I haven’t seen her in like a month and a half so I’m super excited.” Find out which Netflix show the couple watched three times while quarantining together!
