Former Love Island star Shaughna Phillips has hit back after she was accused of being “bitter” about her ex Callum Jones. Shaughna, 29, and Callum, 27, had a brief romance during series six of the ITV2 dating show in 2020.
But she was savagely dumped after he re-coupled with Molly Smith, which led to Shaughna’s iconic catchphrase “congrats, hun.” Now, Shaughna has been targeted by online trolls, who have claimed she needs to “move on”.
After the official Love Island Instagram page posted a first look teaser – which showed Georgia Steel flirting with bombshell Tom Clare, after previously kissing Callum – Shaughna commented: “This is the best thing I’ve ever watched.” Her comment raised eyebrows amongst fans, with many assuming she was taking a swipe at Callum.
One cruel user wrote: “4 years on and still bitter, clown head.” Shaughna hit back: “Bitter? I meant this series is the best thing I’ve ever watched you imbecile.” And when someone else wrote: “Time to move on.
