Ozzy Osbourne

John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, actor and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which he adopted the nickname "The Prince of Darkness".

Osbourne was fired from the band in 1979 due to alcohol and drug problems, but he went on to have a successful solo career, releasing eleven studio albums, the first seven of which were all awarded multi-platinum certifications in the United States. Osbourne has since reunited with Black Sabbath on several occasions.

Sharon Osbourne has thanked her husband Ozzy Osbourne for their incredible life together on their 39th wedding anniversary. The former talk show host took to Instagram to share some throwback snaps from their wedding day in 1982.

Both were glowing with joy as they wore white and posed for photos on their special day all those years ago. "Thank you for 39 years," she started. "For the most incredible life together.

The crazy, wonderful and insane times. "Yes, pain and sorrow too, but we got through it. We worked so hard for years professionally and personally.

We succeed together. You are my soul, my life." The 68-year-old continued: "What a fantastic life we have lived so far, the best thing is there’s more to come .
