Sharon Osbourne has admitted to 'throwing up' after losing more than 2stone by taking the weight loss drug Ozempic. The 70 year old former -X Factor judge and wife of Ozzy Osbourne took the weight-loss injections for four months, which helped her lose 13.6kg - or 2 stone 1lbs During an appearance on Bill Maher's Club Random podcast, she opened up about how she took the semaglutide injection, which helps lower blood sugar by helping the pancreas make more insulin.

Sharon, who has a history of weight struggles, said: "You have a weight loss problem and you've tried everything and then somebody says take this injection and you're going to be skinny." Bill responded, saying that he, himself, couldn't take the injection because he is scared of taking "foreign substances" into his body, before telling Sharon that medicine is a game of "always playing the odds" to which Sharon agreed, "always".

She went on to explain that Ozempic was effective for her because it helped her to lose her appetite, and even after stopping the injections, any hunger was still at bay.

Speaking about her initial experience of taking the drug, Sharon said: "The first few weeks was f**king s**t because you just throw up all the time." But once the sickness was over, Sharon said that she was "fine" and "felt nothing" as she explained that the reason she thought her hunger didn't return was due to her stomach shrinking.
