Shannen Maria Doherty (born April 12, 1971) is an American actress, producer, and television director. She is known for her roles as Jenny Wilder in Little House on the Prairie (1982-1983), Maggie Malene in Girls Just Want to Have Fun (1985), Kris Witherspoon in Our House (1986-1988), Heather Duke in Heathers (1988), Brenda Walsh in Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990–1994), Prue Halliwell in Charmed (1998–2001), and BH90210 (2019).

The actress recently revealed plans to record video messages to say goodbye to her family as her cancer continues to worsen.
She says she will record the messages and also write letters to her loved ones when she is ready, but believes she will live another 10 to 15 years.
And in a recent video shared with her 1.7 million Instagram followers, Shannen and her hubby danced in their kitchen with Mumford & Sons hit song Woman playing in the background.
