Shane Duffy has revealed Bobo Balde was his hero growing up when watching Hoops teams. And he's also desperate to play against Rangers next month after admitting he was never lucky enough to make it to a derby game during his years of supporting the club.
He did travel over regularly from Derry to watch his boyhood heroes but when his own career took over it meant it was next to impossible to get tickets for the big one.
Duffy played under Alan Stubbs when the ex-Celtic defender was reserves boss at Everton and he was one of a number of people singled out by the big centre back when asked about his Hoops heroes.
He said: "Big Bobo! Big Bobo. I’ve followed Celtic all my life and I was lucky enough to get managed by Alan Stubbs and I used to.
