Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Shane Duffy to the Hoops. The Irish defender is a boyhood Celtic fan and the Premiership champions hope they can use the romance of a transfer to his heroes to convince him to move to Glasgow and shun more Premier League millions.

West Ham are also interested in signing the Brighton centre back and Duffy worked with Hammers boss David Moyes when they were both at Everton.Lennon refused to be drawn into discussions when asked about signing a centre back following his side's 6-0 win over KR Reykjavik in the Champions League.

But now he's confirmed that early talks have taken place as he told Irish show Off The Ball: "We have made tentative enquiries and we'll see how that goes." Celtic are in need of a centre back with just Christopher.
