Footage of the shocking incident, filmed in Brooklyn, Illinois, US, shows a confrontation between three females and a pregnant woman stood outside a home alongside what is understood to be her young daughter.
In the clip, the little girl can be hearing crying and clinging to her expectant mum as she falls to the ground while being punched and having her hair pulled.
The boy being defended by his mum is then seen landing a kick to the toddler's head as he jumps into the brawl. The footage has attracted widespread criticism on Facebook after it was shared and watched more than 227,000
