Sha’Carri Richardson is speaking out for the first time. The 21-year-old athlete, poised to be a strong competitor at the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, made a statement about her suspension from the U.S.

Olympic team after reportedly failing a drug test due to testing positive for marijuana. According to NBC, she failed the test for THC, found in marijuana, after her win at the U.S.
