A 'sex manual' banned for nearly 250 years because of its risqué advice and references to bestiality has been unearthed. Titled 'Aristotle's Masterpiece Completed In Two Parts, The First Containing the Secrets of Generation', the book was initially published in 1720 but was banned until the 1960s.The Georgian-era illustrated book included depictions of creatures, such as unicorns, which were said to be born from 'women's unnatural lying with beasts'.

Other advice states that things imagined during sex could affect what a child looked like once born.According to the Mirror, women are encouraged to 'look earnestly' at their husbands so their children will resemble them, rather than risk the children being born with 'great blubber-lips' if their minds wander.
