These include humour, alcoholism, addiction, love and hope.“This will be my first solo show at the Harbour Arts Centre, which is a stone’s throw away from my own studio.”The exhibition consists of limited-edition prints, pencil drawings and a selection of original oil paintings.Graham added: "I am very pleased to have been invited by the HAC to exhibit my work.

The venue is very near my own studio, within the nearby Courtyard Studios, and it is a real pleasure for me to show locally.“Since becoming a full-time artist almost 27 years ago, I have always been a supporter of the fantastic work the HAC does for all the arts.

It has become a real creative hub within the West of Scotland for not only the visual arts but performance also.“With this exhibition I have tried to include a wide selection of images that cover the various themes I have touched on over the years and I wanted to give the viewer as varied a selection of my work as possible.”Graham’s work captures sights and scenes that many people will have experienced in their lives – including dancing, walking in the rain and fishing – with a pinch of humour added.Councillor Alan Hill, cabinet minister for communities
