Released three years after the breathtaking cliffhanger that ended Season 1, the first episode of the new season sees Innie Mark returning to the office after discovering his outie’s late wife, Gemma, is actually alive — in the form of Lumon’s wellness director, Ms.
Casey. The other characters — Dylan, Irving and Helly — had also snuck glimpses of the outside world via the Overtime Contingency, a special protocol that allows innies to awaken inside their outie selves.
