A plane above a Scots airport with dozens of passengers onboard deviated 'significantly' from its flight path and came down to earth at 3,000 feet per minute.
Bosses at the Air Accident Investigation Branch (AAIB) have now published a report into the 'serious incident' which happened on September 11 in the skies over Aberdeen.
The Tui Boeing 737-8K5 was carrying 67 passengers and six crew when the drama unfolded. In the report the AAIB said the incident came at a time when the pilots 'had not flown for significant periods' during the previous 18 months due to the coronavirus pandemic.While it said a firm link had not been established between a lack of time in the air and the incident 'it was clearly a possibility'.The crew had operated a
