Semi-naked man threatens shoppers with huge sword outside Poundland store

Shocking footage has emerged that shows a semi-naked man waving a sword at horrified shoppers in south London. The clip features the 32-year-old man, dressed in just his briefs, brandishing the large blade at people walking past him outside a branch of Poundland near Elephant and Castle.

Brave witnesses tried to disarm him when he turned his back but they are forced to flee for their lives seconds later. Ryan Harris, 23, told Mail Online he heard a large commotion and saw the man brandishing a "long thing blade" when he looked out of his window.
