Selling Sunset's Jason Oppenheim cries over split from 'love of his life' Chrishell Stause

Selling Sunset star Jason Oppenheim broke down in tears as he discussed his split from “love of his life” Chrishell Stause in the reunion episode of the Netflix show which aired on Friday.The 45 year old was overcome with emotion when he was questioned about the “very difficult” break up as he admitted that he “f**ked up something that was really good”.

Jason and Chrishell, 40, dated during the fifth season of the hit real estate series — a pairing of which left many fans surprised — however it was not to last, as the couple eventually split due to their differing opinions on starting a family.

While Chrishell made her intentions clear on the show about wanting to have a baby sooner rather than later, boyfriend at the time Jason wasn’t on board — causing the couple to go their separate ways.The split was clearly still a painful subject judging by Jason’s reaction when asked about it, as he replied crying through tears at the reunion: “There's a sadness and loss I think and watching the show made it more difficult, brought it back up. “It's been a few months but I'm still just going through stuff and I think there was a lot of love between us, and I still care about her very much, this has been a very difficult breakup. “I can never think more highly of someone than I do Chrishell she was an amazing girlfriend, and she would be an amazing mom. "It's not that I think I made the wrong decision it's just that I had a lot of respect and still have the upmost respect for Chrishell and still love her as much today.
