Self Esteem has announced a live “theatrical presentation” of her upcoming third album ‘A Complicated Woman’ – find all the details below.The singer-songwriter – aka Rebecca Lucy Taylor – is due to release the 12-track record on April 25 via Polydor.
She’s already previewed the follow-up to 2021’s Mercury and BRIT-nominated ‘Prioritise Pleasure’ with the single ‘Focus Is Power’, released last week.Today (January 28), it has been confirmed that a brand-new intimate show from Taylor – titled ‘A Complicated Woman Live’ – will be coming to the Duke Of York’s Theatre in London this spring.Created by Taylor and Tony award-winning designer Tom Scutt, the “unique” performance is described as “an ambitious quasi-theatrical experience that harnesses the power and energy of a gig but presents it through a theatrical format”.Scutt also directed ‘A Complicated Woman Live’, which features choreography by Stuart Rogers, and musical direction by Mike Park.A limited run of five shows has been scheduled for April 16, 17, 18 and 19 – with the latter date featuring two performances.A post shared by SELF ESTEEM (@selfesteemselfesteem)Tickets for all shows go on general sale at 10am GMT on Wednesday February 5 – you’ll be able to buy yours here.
