The 31-year-old “Single Soon” pop star was linked to the “Baby” hitmaker, and they dated on and off for years through 2018 when Justin rekindled a relationship with his wife Hailey Bieber.
Although it’s never been confirmed, many fans believe that Selena addressed their final breakup on her first chart-topping single “Lose You to Love Me,” which arrived the following year.
She seemingly alluded to the song’s creation in a new interview. Read more about Selena Gomez’s comment… Speaking at the Twilio SIGNAL 2023 conference, Selena referenced how “heartbreak” has inspired her to create new music. “So then when I was going through a heartbreak, I immediately wrote my best music and wanted to be there for every woman or a man or whoever going through that journey,” she said.
