Selena Gomez has revealed that she broke her hand. The 31-year-old singer and actress opened up a bit about her injury in a reply to a fan about her newest song, “Single Soon,” and added that she actually just underwent surgery for the fracture. Keep reading to find out more… According to Billboard, Selena was responding to a fan who was predicting that “Single Soon” would be on the Top 20 charts.

However, Selena isn’t worried about the song charting at all, and instead more focused on getting her hand strength back. “Broke my hand and had surgery,” she wrote back, not giving more details about how she suffered the injury at all. “I don’t care about selling anything.

I’m just happy to make music with my friends.” Billboard does add that “Single Soon” is expected on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
