Many will be disappointed to hear that we’re not going to get to see the most recent, and some of the most dramatic, royal scandals play out on our screens.
At least not anytime soon. An executive producer of The Crown has revealed, when asked about season seven, that the show will not be depicting anything after the early 2000s because there has not been enough time to ‘gain a proper perspective’ on anything that happened after that.
This news means that hopes of seeing William and Kate’s wedding, Harry’s partying days, or Megxit portrayed on the show have been dashed.
