Summer Breeze was subsequently covered by musical groups such as the Isley Brothers and Type O Negative, and featured in films such as Dazed and Confused, King of California and Vacation, among others.Seals was born in Sidney, Texas on October 17, 1941; his father Wayland Seals worked in the oil industry and had a background in music, according to Rolling Stone.
