‘Scream 7’ Adds Celeste O’Connor To Cast
deadline.comCeleste O’Connor (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire) is the newest addition to the cast of Scream 7, Deadline has learned. Details as to O’Connor’s role are under wraps.
They’ll star alongside the returning Neve Campbell, as well as Isabel May, who has been tapped to play the daughter of Campbell’s final girl Sidney Prescott.
While plot details also have not yet been disclosed, the film comes on the heels of Scream VI, which brought in a franchise-high domestic gross exceeding $108 million in March 2023.
Collectively, films in the meta horror franchise have earned more than $900 million in worldwide box office receipts. Kevin Williamson, architect of the Scream franchise who scripted the original Wes Craven-directed 1996 title, will direct from a script by Guy Busick.
