With the festive season fast approaching, people are getting into the holiday spirit by decorating their homes, and one grandmother has taken it to the next level to delight her grandchildren. The woman, hailed as "super gran" on social media, created a Christmas wonderland in her own backyard.
While such projects are often expensive affairs, she created it using festive decorations accumulated over the years, as well as borrowed items. She transformed a once gloomy garden shed into a dazzling grotto reminiscent of Lapland, complete with sparkling lights, a comfy armchair, candles, festive baubles, a petite Christmas tree, and more.
To top off the surprise, Santa Claus paid a visit, bearing gifts for the children to unwrap ahead of Christmas Day.Her daughter April Hamilton, who posted a clip of the enchanting shed on TikTok, commented: "I think she just wanted to do something nice for her grandkids.
She's always taken great pride in her Christmas tree, and I have fond memories of decorating it together with a Christmas movie in the background.""She put the same effort into decorating the shed, which she wanted to feel like Santa's grotto, magical yet cosy," added April.
