The Scottish Government has confirmed that 2,403 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the last 24 hours, There have been no further deaths recorded in the country.
It brings the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – to 9,031.
There are currently 896 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 61 being treated in intensive care. To date 4,302,382 people have received their first vaccination with 3,890,477 having a second jab.The figures come as Glasgow's health board has urged patients only to attend A&E if an issue is "life-threatening" after it emerged that 32% of attendances in one week at the board's flagship hospital were for minor injuries.Healt
