Scott Storch and Mannie Fresh are the latest producers to participate in Timbaland and Swizz Beatz’s Instagram Live battle series.
Fresh steps in as a replacement for T-Pain, who was originally selected to battle Storch. Storch started out as a keyboardist for Philadelphia hip-hop group The Roots before stepping out as a producer in the late ‘90s.
He is known for hits like Dr. Dre’s “Still D.R.E.” and Fat Joe’s “Lean Back,” as well as Beyoncé’s “Me, Myself and I,” 50 Cent’s “Candy Shop,” and Chris Brown’s “Run It!” Meanwhile, Fresh was Cash Money’s in-house producer until 2005.
During his decade at the label, he produced hits such as Juvenile’s “Back That Azz Up,” “Still Fly” (as part of his group Big Tymers), and Lil Wayne’s “Go DJ.” He
