Wing king Ethan Walker insists he's finally found a place to call home after joining Scott Brown's Somerset revolution. The former Blackburn kid has left Ewood Park to sign a two-year deal north of the border. He becomes the seventh new face of the summer as Ayr continue to assemble a squad fit for a Championship assault.
And Walker admits that after a string of loan spells down south, he is ready to make it count for Ayr fans. He told the Ayrshire Post: "I want to come here and kickstart my career and the manager has made it really clear in our conversations that this is the perfect place for me to do that. "He also spoke to me when he was at Fleetwood two years ago and was really positive about me as a player.
So having the confidence of someone like him - with his career in the game - is huge for me."I want to come here and express myself and I think the manager will get the best version of Ethan Walker that I've been looking to show for a long time.
I've had a number of loans down south - Ayr are actually my ninth club - so I feel like I've had a lot of experience despite only being 21."And everywhere I've been until now - whether it be good or bad - has provided a positive for me and helped shape the person I am now.
